Three Questions Buyers Actually Ask About Quality Control
Organized by what you're worried about, not by which stage runs first.
"Is inspection only at the end, or does it happen throughout?"
Material entering the floor, work still in progress, and the finished piece are each looked at separately, not folded into one pass at the end — the full stage-by-stage sequence is on the homepage's Quality Control section. The two points worth understanding in detail are below.
"How do I know quality doesn't drop off partway through a run?"
A random pull mid-run checks partially completed units against the same approved reference sample used everywhere else — not a fresh judgment call each time, the same fixed comparison point throughout. This is what catches drift that would otherwise only surface once the whole run is already finished.
"What gets checked right before something actually ships?"
Measurement, decoration placement, and packaging are compared against your signed-off sample immediately before shipment — the last point where a mismatch can be caught before it's already on a truck.
What Inspection Can't Catch
Said plainly, because a QC process that only narrates what it catches isn't being honest about what it doesn't.
Personal fit or comfort preference. Inspection checks a unit against the sample you signed off on — it doesn't re-evaluate whether that fit is still right for you. That judgment happens at sample sign-off, not at bulk QC.
How a color looks on your screen versus under factory lighting. A digital proof and a sublimated fabric swatch under different lighting won't match pixel-for-pixel. The checkpoints above compare against a physical reference sample, not a screen render.
A defect found late doesn't undo itself. Catching an issue at pre-shipment inspection means a delay or a pulled unit, not a guarantee the original timeline holds.

The distinction that makes the mid-production and pre-shipment checks meaningful.
A generic quality bar can only catch defects that are obviously wrong to anyone — a torn seam, a missing panel. It can't catch a construction that's technically clean but doesn't match what you actually approved — a seam routed slightly differently, a fit allowance that drifted from the signed-off version. Checking against the sample you personally signed off on catches both categories, because the comparison point is what you agreed to, not a general standard that has no memory of your specific spec.

One Rule Behind Every Check
A checkpoint that only compares against a general standard tells you the garment is fine. A checkpoint that compares against your own signed-off sample tells you it's the garment you actually asked for — those aren't the same claim, and only the second one is worth the sequence it runs on.
